I lie in the comfort of my invisible friend,
To whose limitless beauty there is no end.
I’ve slept through my life of hours so many,
I wish not to wake to the thought of somebody.
The coldness of winter has now possessed me.
As distance draws blood from these veins of time,
My mind wanders astray
To thoughts of life and then everything fine.
I will swim someday in the velvet ocean,
But for now I have them staring,
The hunter, the killer and the world around them,
As if to say I’ve stolen their motion.
